Through our partnership with the Mapleton YMCA, we are offering weekly showers to individuals. We also provide towels, toiletries, and, in collaboration with Deacons' Closet, clean clothes for after showers. Each shower costs us $6.00, plus the cost of toiletries and laundering towels. From January through Oct. 26 2022, we’ve transported and paid for 147 people to take showers.

As of Nov 2021, we bring people to a laundromat weekly and pay for them to wash and dry a load of clothes. The cost is approximately $10/person, and we accommodate up to five people per week. From March through Oct. 27 2022, we’ve transported and paid for 83 people to do their laundry.

We provide transportation to important destinations such as storage facilities, appointments, the first weeks of a new job or to a job interview. We will also help purchase necessary items and provide support to individuals as needed to obtain and maintain employment.

We started out in February 2021, serving coffee and breakfast on Wednesdays by the bandshell in downtown Boulder. In the first 9 months of 2022, we’ve served 2,131 meals. These breakfasts have become an integral way not only for us to feed between 40-80 people once a week, but to help us build connections and trust within the unhoused community. Our breakfasts serve as a springboard for people to sign up to get transported to take showers at the YMCA.
